About the Author
Raquel Ramos Barrios has a degree in Geography and History from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and majored in History. She also won a Premio Nacional de Defensa (A National Defence Award) in 2007. She has been Honorary Assistant in the Department of Contemporary History at the Faculty of Geography and History for several courses. She has also been teaching Contemporary History in the course of access to the University for people older than 25 and History, Art and Philosophy in several high schools. She is the author of monographs such as El proceso de transici�n democr�tica de las Fuerzas Armadas espa�olas . 1975-1989 (Ministerio de Defensa, Secretar�a General T�cnica, 2008) and has published articles in many magazines such as Historia del Tiempo Presenta or Espacio, Tiempo y Forma
